Northlight Leadership was founded by Shannon Yocum to bring clarity, courage, and connection to the work of leadership. Shannon launched Northlight with the belief that leaders need more than strategies and systems—they need holistic support that recognizes both the human and business sides of leadership. She believes every leader has the capacity to grow, inspire, and create ripple effects that strengthen their teams, organizations, and communities.

Meet Shannon
Shannon Yocum, Founder of Northlight Leadership, brings more than a decade of experience in leadership development and executive coaching. She has built and scaled leadership-focused businesses, launched a successful coaching practice, and expanded programs to meet the evolving needs of organizations and executives. Over the years, she has partnered with senior leaders across industries to navigate complexity with clarity, design and deliver leadership programs that drive measurable impact, and facilitate high-impact team experiences that strengthen trust, collaboration, and performance.
Shannon's foundation combines the art and science of leadership development, coaching, and human behavior. She holds a Master’s Degree in Coaching and is a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). She is also certified in Gallup CliftonStrengths, Insights Discovery, and EQ-i 2.0, and is experienced in creating custom 360° feedback and leadership tools. With this blend of expertise, Shannon designs and delivers leadership experiences that are flexible, tangible, and deeply human.
